About us

Makler Kft. was founded in 1,990. Until 2002 it played an important role in the truck parts wholesale market in Hungary, and since 2002 we have been importing and wholesaling professional tools and workshop equipment.

Who we are

Makler Kft. was founded in 1990 by 3 professionals dedicated to their trade, and has since been run according to the vision and experience of its managing director. At that time there was great demand for truck parts (mainly IFA), so seeing the market opportunity we chose this as our main activity. In the early 2000s, however, we noticed that more and more of these “old warriors” were being taken off the road, so we began looking for new directions.

Influenced by our partners, colleagues and contacts, we finally committed ourselves to professional tools and workshop equipment, and have continued along this path ever since.

The first tools we could fully identify with – both in quality and in market potential – were Genius Tools products. We soon obtained exclusive import rights for these products in Hungary and Romania, which we have successfully held ever since. The Genius Tools brand is becoming better known and more popular year by year. To meet this challenge, we continuously expand our stock and source newer and more innovative tools – no longer only from Genius Tools.

Most of our employees are experienced specialists in vehicle repair, so they can give useful advice on choosing the right tool or part and on solving service problems.

Besides professional tools and workshop equipment, which have now become our main business, we still keep truck parts in stock (IFA W50, HW trailers, and to a limited extent Rába, Liaz and Tatra). These products are not presented on this website, so please enquire about our current stock by e-mail.

With our new logo we want to express our conviction that every link of our company, and the careful connection of every link, is essential to successful operation. We believe that the bond between owners, employees, partners and the processes inside and outside the company – the Unity they create – drives the structure forward and ensures development. This chain, this cooperation is an indispensable ingredient of the success of a smoothly running company that is ready to renew itself.
