This Timing Chain, Cam Locking Tool Set is for use on M271 4-cylinder Mercedes engines in the 2003-2005 C230 kompressor

Mercedes M271 locking/setting tool set for 1.8, 2.0, 2.3, 2.5 chain driven petrol engines.
This retaining device makes it possible to position the camshafts in the installed position.
Retainer to draw in the timing chain. To retain timing chain with camshaft sprockets in mesh.
For drawing in the timing chain. Retains timing chain with camshaft sprockets in proper timing position.
Makes it possible to position the camshafts in the installed position.
Makes it possible to slacken and tighten the bolts attaching the camshaft gear.
It is to install the plug into the timing case cover (access to chain tensioner).
It is for unloading the timing chain tensioning device. Release the timing chain.

Included:
- Timing Chain Retainer For locking camshafts and setting camshafts in basic position also holds camshafts securely
- Chashaft Retainer For locking camshafts and setting camshafts in basic position also holds camshafts securely while loosening and tightening sprocket bolts.
- Drift Pin: For installing blanking plug back into crankcase cover after removing chain tensioner.
- Timing Chain Tension Key: For release of oil filled chain tensioner releasing tension on timing chain.
- Star Bit T100H Tamperproof.
